Founded in Nashville
InfoCode Corporation was founded by Jim McLeod, Jr., a University of Tennessee graduate, specializing in land-based data management for the real estate industry.
Expansion into GIS and Public Safety
As GIS technology matured, InfoCode expanded its capabilities to serve the database, server, and network management needs of government agencies, with a growing focus on public safety applications.

Jim McLeod, Jr. founded InfoCode Corporation in 1992 after graduating from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He has led the company through its evolution from real estate data management to its current focus on emergency notification data infrastructure.
As president, Jim oversees day-to-day operations, product and service development, and new business partnerships. His long-term focus on data quality and technical reliability has shaped InfoCode's reputation as a trusted partner for public safety organizations.
