InfoCode's mission is to ensure that emergency notification systems have reliable phone coverage tied to accurate physical locations. When a disaster strikes or a public safety emergency unfolds, the ability to quickly reach residents depends entirely on the quality of the underlying contact data.
We build and maintain the data infrastructure that makes that possible. By combining rigorous quality control, advanced geospatial processing, and automated data management, we produce datasets that public safety agencies and emergency notification providers can trust in high-stakes situations.
Our work is not visible to the public, but its impact is. Every time an emergency alert reaches a resident who needs it, reliable data infrastructure is part of what made that possible.

Founded in Nashville
InfoCode Corporation was founded by Jim McLeod, Jr., a University of Tennessee graduate, specializing in land-based data management for the real estate industry.
Expansion into GIS and public safety
As GIS technology matured, InfoCode expanded its capabilities to serve the database, server, and network management needs of government agencies, with a growing focus on public safety applications.
Focused on emergency notification data
Today, InfoCode is focused on developing and managing the large-scale phone and address data systems that power emergency notification platforms across the United States and Canada.

Data governance
How this data may be used.
InfoCode supplies contact data for one purpose: emergency notification and public safety communication. The agreements we work under restrict use to that purpose and to authorized government end users. Data is not supplied for marketing, telemarketing, solicitation, debt collection, or general commercial use, and we decline requests of that kind.
Deliverables go only to the contracting agency or its designated notification platform, through the delivery channel agreed in the contract. Redistribution beyond the contracting party is not permitted without written agreement.
Questions about how data is handled under a specific contract are answered directly. If your legal or procurement team needs the terms in writing before a purchase, we will provide them.

Founder and president
Jim McLeod, Jr. founded InfoCode Corporation in 1992 after graduating from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He has led the company through its evolution from real estate data management to its current focus on emergency notification data infrastructure.
As president, Jim oversees day-to-day operations, product and service development, and new business partnerships. His long-term focus on data quality and technical reliability has shaped InfoCode's reputation as a trusted partner for public safety organizations.
